ACTIVITY CHECK
Actions have consequences.
You’ll be required to link a minimum of two (2) threads, as well as a brief summary of what your character’s been up to. No comment count required! Regarding summaries, a few lines are perfectly fine! We’re mostly looking for clues in order to adequately track your character’s ambitions/intentions/deeds so that we can 1. dole out suitable consequences/curses/boons/etc (immediately following AC or at random), and 2. observe their evolution until the inevitable end. Will it be Ascension, or annihilation?
We realize that this can be extremely subjective as far as good and evil go, so to keep things simple, we'll have to adjust the consequences based on the character's overall intent. You'll be notified ICly or OOcly as soon as they come into effect (which might not necessarily happen right after AC or every round), depending on the action and what the outcome entails. Examples of consequences include, but are absolutely not limited to: a sojourn in jail, physical transformations, valuable artifacts, a harrowing, a permanent Spark, a power fully restored, a loss of any kind, privileges, information, etc. Consequences may not be doled out every time, but keep in mind that every action leads your character closer to Oblivium regardless, or Ascension. We'll keep track.
Regarding threads, we accept links from TDMs, inboxes, logs, the netherwork, and Soulidarity. You may submit threads from up to two months prior to the current month if you're still tagging them, but you can’t submit the same thread twice.
Subthreads from a top-level or a catch-all log can be used as separate proofs for AC! As for bonuses, we'll be limiting submissions of subthreads to one (1) per round.
Additionally, we simply ask that you don’t exclusively tag inboxes and/or castmates, repeatedly submit network-style comment spam, or drop your threads as soon as you pass AC. If a consistent pattern occurs, we’ll reach out to the player and discuss with them before issuing a warning.
A warning is cleared after you’ve successfully passed AC two months in a row.
If extenuating circumstances prevent you from playing or notifying us in time, a retroactive hiatus will be available to you once every 6 months. Otherwise, to avoid a warning, please notify us at least one week before the end of the month!
Regarding bonuses, which are an optional perk, we accept links from TDMs, inboxes, logs, and the netherwork. Please note that each thread must have at least 8 comments from you, and can’t be threads you’ve submitted for AC. Each bonus thread equals 5 points. You may also submit threads from up to two months prior to the current month if you're still tagging them, but you can’t submit the same thread twice. You can collect your points and spend them whenever you wish, and no more than one reward per round will be granted.

A boon is, essentially, a (reasonable!) wish granted or an item requested from home! A trinket is much lesser than an artifact in power, and would also have to eventually be soul-forged in order to last.

Fukawa Toko/Genocider Syo
October 2022
After arriving she was rescued from the Forges by Claude and helped Dimitri to free other restless on a ship, and was charmed by Sylvain. Syo saved Steve Harrington from the call of the crevice. A strong start! But then with the introduction of the Soulidarity app, both girls fell prey to their worst instincts. Syo harassed several cute boys but especially Sylvain, bullied Naruto, Jonas, and Steve, and taunted Grimmjow — while also agreeing to be Asa/Yoru's soulmate on a whim. Fukawa mostly scolded people for perceived flaws in their profiles, arguing with Ichigo, Ruby, Joonghyuk, and Sakura, who wound up giving her a lesson both in first aid and in humility. She also talked with Lottie about her (non-existent) worth as a woman and finding soulmates.
During the festival Fukawa was grouchy and suspicious. She intended to avoid most activities but did fall victim to the food, having a serene and cuddly conversation with Dimitri about their purpose in this so-called afterlife. She also had to convince Lottie that she was hallucinating after drinking whisky. Meanwhile Syo took full advantage of the maze to terrorize her fellow Restless, threatening Bruno and Rosa and actively attacking Sylvain. She may not have intended to kill him, but the temptation is indescribably strong.
Fetching the lantern went "well" with Claude, as Fukawa and Syo were able to help him defeat the monster Puck conjured, and she solved the riddle with Eivor. Meanwhile Syo was goaded into attempting to kill him by her shadow, and Joonghyuk and Kaito both had to step in and stop her. She complied in the end but it was a close call. With the Horseman's attack Fukawa mostly ran for her dear life while Syo actively fought the monster off, saving Steve and Silco in the process. The latter is a strangely accepting fellow, the only one who seemed calm and welcoming to a serial killer's company.
In the days following, Syo posted an anonymous and misleading message to Sylvain on the netherwork, implying their encounter was something salacious and pretending the public notice was an accident. She had fun messing with everyone who commented, but Fukawa was horrified upon finding it later. She's now avoiding anyone who responded, wondering if it would be better to retreat from the community altogether. She's no longer sure if she can trust Syo, and expects everyone to despise her once they discover the truth.

November 2022
- NETWORK: Fukawa weighed in on theories with Naruto, Cedrik, and Sakura, ending in an argument with the latter. She did show some concern for Jonas and his blood curse, but took more interest in the implied kiss he shared with Naruto, wriggling into his inbox for gossip and somehow emerging as friends? Weird. Syo hassled Keith and implied his friend had erection difficulties, while also "checking in" on Steve for his missing soulmate post. She likes that guy, he's so funny.
- MOVING PLACES: Sooyoung approached Fukawa about moving into her new
scamapartment building, and Fukawa rushed to Lottie for approval first. She admitted to the other girl that she would hate to live with anyone else and she's kinda okay sometimes!! ANOTHER FRIEND? She'll need one, because this building is full of weirdos and powder kegs.- QUEST: While locating lost films with Felix she got to bond with her new ill-begotten crush! She then retrieved a star piece with an unusual fellow named "Ares" who kept talking about how cool getting splattered with blood is while pushing a sword into her hands. She is convinced he's clinically insane.
- AC EFFECT: Being afflicted with a white lies meant she accidentally told two strangers they looked nice that day. The first was Dokja, who took her redaction in strained stride, while the second was Callisto, who demanded retribution for the insult. Fukawa has now entered servitude under him, though she kinda likes the idea. Yikes.
- HANAHAKI: Her effects started out innocuous enough to mistake for a cold, which is what her and Lottie treated it as while exchanging conspiracy theories. She realized it was something much more serious while running into Sasuke, both of them coughing up petals. She told him the name and nature of the disease while insisting it was only a stupid story, yet he snapped at her for her idiocy. The argument escalated with both skewering the other's insecurities and ended with a death threat and a ninja-magic maneuver that sent Fukawa running for dear life.
- HOUSE WARMING: Rosa made polite conversation with her at the opening party and declined to call her (Syo) out as a murderous fiend, while Heewon made her drop her soup and conked her in the head with a six pack. Unfortunately, she also bumped into Syo's favourite victim Sylvain and was forced to flee the premises. And then she was immediately arrested.
- JAIL: Fukawa was inconsolable. Being arrested for Syo's crimes has been a lifelong fear of hers and having it realized was a devastating blow. The arrival of other cellmates such as Dimitri and D helped her regroup and even escape, though she admitted to Joonghyuk that being convicted and branded leaves her hopeless for redemption. Zagreus also helped her escape while she nagged him for LARPing as a forgettable Greek god, while Sakura displayed very suspicious martial arts prowess to save her. Sooyoung helped her fight off the guard to save the Mystery Prisoner, though Fukawa had to swap to Syo to save their asses. They opted to free the poor lad before getting the heck outta there.
- THE FUGITIVE
starring Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones: Fukawa didn't find her clothes on the way out and resorted to stealing some left out to dry. She was caught by three people. Steve, who mistook her for Syo and got in a panic battle with her before she explained herself. Claude, who scooped her up on his magic wyvern and flew her gallantly to safety. And Silco, who took her out for a meal and commiserated about criminal acts, condemnation, and how police are bullshit. He advised her to lay low and she took his word to heart. Later that week, she confronted Sakura, suspecting that the girl had a hidden agenda due to her secret martial arts skills and her day job as the friendly neighbourhood medic. After a tense spat the two came to terms and forgave each other. They are also friends now? what is happening- SECOND QUEST: Sensing that she is enemy number one on her other half's shit list, Syo tried to earn some money to make it up to her. She's terrible at fishing, but luckily fellow enfant terrible Jinx showed up and bombed the harbour. After some haggling Syo agreed to help clean up for a cut of the profits.
