1. Yeah, no worries! If you’re already in-game, we aren’t about to kick you out. Wouldn’t be fair for us to punish you for following the initial rules!
2. The Notice Board is the best place to pick up monthly jobs/quests at any given time (events will also, likely, have other opportunities, usually more substantial and involved quests). Or do you mean oocly? IF SO, then we just added a Questions section on the Notice Board entry. So if you have questions specific to those jobs/quests, put them there.
3. You are entirely welcome (and encouraged!) to fill in the blanks of possible NPC businesses and have your character come into their employ. This works for generalized, “regular” businesses/jobs. We would not, however, want you to assume that he came into the employ of the Hierarchy or something plot heavy like that. There will be opportunities to take on jobs for the Hierarchy, but those will be offered in mod-generated posts.
3b. Absolutely! The Barrens are not for the faint of heart. Those who loiter here are often suspicious of new faces and it is not unlikely that Jim will find it difficult to immediately find employment. Fosco Dale, owner of The Dull Retreat Tavern, is a cheap man, however, and is willing to let Jim bus tables for a considerable cut wage. Is it worth getting his foot in the door? Perhaps. Perhaps in time, Jim can prove himself to be a valuable asset and earn the trust, as well as respect, of those he serves.
(you can also make up your own pub if you like LOL)
