Short Summary: Now that he has gotten settled down as an assistant in Serene's gardens, Aspen has been able to actually put himself to work. He grabbed a tiny rickety shop near the Harbor and has been renovating it little by little as he works at building up a stash. His Shadow has been nagging at him ever more, but said stash has included calming tonics that he has been downing in an effort to keep himself moderately sedated.
In the meantime, due to his peaceful nature last month, he accrued no ill will and was not sentenced to the Gallows. Instead, he helped break out those who were imprisoned, using his invisibility Spark in the process. He has tentatively opened himself up to Laurent, enough that Aspen isn't sure what to call their relationship anymore - and also gave his first Underworldly kiss to Augustine (scandalous). He has gone into Hale with Sakura, bringing back medical goods so those who might not be able to traverse the broken streets will still get care.
