regarding point #2, as per my summary:

[...] he's been seen doling out unsolicited survivalist opinions to some of the more bright-eyed, optimistic types, and making unlikely bonds with those more in tune with his line of thinking.

he also did his part to help out at the end of the festival, after the headless horseman left, mostly to dig around for clues, and absorb as much as he can about this new world's customs and practices in his attempts to keep surviving.

the last thread has only one comment so far which, fair enough, i understand if that doesn't count, but it was more a matter of being unable to rp at the time than anything else — i definitely don't plan on handwaving it.
