Short Summary: At first, realizing that he'd died without accomplishing any of his goals spiralled Claude straight into the fun side of nihilism. This made him slightly more candid and friendly with the people he met upon first arriving in the Shadowlands.
Once he arrived in Stygia however, suspicion started to set in that this is all some sort of Trick, and he's reverted back to his more guarded, distant self. While he's put on a relaxed face and socialized with others at the feast, and tried to weasel information out of the other Restless, ultimately he's struggling to trust anyone and anything around him. He put up a fake profile on Soulidarity before one could be made for him, and has actively avoided revealing too much about his history to the others here. At least completing the lantern quest returned his wyvern to him, so he's not entirely alone...!
