Short Summary: Bruno had a bad time discovering he was suddenly dead and in some kind of purgatory. It didn't exactly fit what he expected from that but he's been pretty down on himself about failing somewhere in his life to end up... here... and is liable to carry on being down on himself about that for an unknown amount of time. He survived being captured by a reaper and the trip across the Tempest with the help of several other Restless along the way.

After reaching Stygia, he wandered off and inevitably holed up in an abandoned ruin of a chapel out a way in the Barrens instead of picking a more sensible place to slum. He's been tidying that up ever since with the occasional help of Jonas and has found this a peaceful task to focus on despite the less-than-stellar surroundings. He visited the city to take part in the festival a few times, enjoying some of the food — especially the firstdawn tea — the music, and then having a Really Bad Time in the maze: once when he fled terrified for his life from a serial killer school girl and another when he gave a god a run for his money in chasing him down.

Along the way, his Shadow would repeatedly remind him of how useless and unlikable he is but it hasn't managed to take hold just yet. He also may or may not have accidentally picked up a soulmate during all of this but that's currently [ thread progression pending ].
