Under the auspices of keeping her lie together, she succumbed to the urges of her shadow to indulge and be intimate with him. She also posted her Soulidarity as a result of her shadow's influence and the related increasing desire for attention/external validation.

Alina offered her power as the sun summoner as a light in the woods for people who wanted to go looking for the lantern, and fought with Eivor over who could bleed as a new sacrifice.
